Unreal Estate: Home Seller Throws In $1,000 Worth of Booze

Sep 26th 2011 1:31PM The Feds can't stop it. She's giving away a BAR TAB, not $1000 worth of liquor. Read the article, please.

That's Magic! Disney Movie Inspired Eye Makeup

May 25th 2011 11:30AM @Luis - Only a no-talent loser would make comments like that. This girl is a very talented artist. Just because her medium is make-up and not watercolors does not in any way diminish her talent. You should seek counseling to determine why you're such a hateful a**hole.

Johnny Depp Debuts Short Haircut (Photo)

May 10th 2011 10:32AM @BTDT - No, he really doesn't.

Tourists Barred from Remote Colombian Amazon Village

Mar 24th 2011 1:16PM Sure, so all the tourists that spend billions there every year to support your local economy, and the corporations (like Disney and Universal) that provide the attractions that supply the entertainment the tourists come to spend their money on and employ a large % of the locals and whose taxes also contribute to your local economy (because the locals contribute a fraction of what tourism does) will take their money somewhere else. What a stupid thing to wish for.

Stephanie Seymour: Bikini and Sunburn in St. Bart's

Mar 21st 2011 10:43AM Are you really that gullible? Facebook is worth BILLIONS. They aren't shutting down. The very idea is absurd.

Aaron B. Tobey, Airport Security Strip Protester, Sues TSA Over Arrest (UPDATE)

Mar 16th 2011 2:15PM To anyone who is badmouthing this kid - don't insult him for having the stones to do what you are too cowardly to attempt. If not for people like him, making peacefull protests and fighting back against a government agency that has too much power and abuses it routinely, we would all be one step closer to being a communist police state. I salute him for his efforts and hope that he is successful in his suit against the TSA. If no one protests these abuses of our rights, soon we won't have any at all.

Now, the facts: He did not cause a disruption. If this were true, he would never have been able to make his flight. Yes, his protest was planned. What successful protest isn't? But he did it in such a way that he wasn't violating any laws - the proof of this is in the fact that the charges against him were DROPPED. The TSA, much like any bully, enjoys flexing it's "muscle", but until we stand up and fight back, we will continue to be at their mercy. You people need to wise up. If you don't mind being probed and photographed every time you dare to get on a plane, then as you were. But if you value AT ALL the freedoms and rights that have always been the hallmark of America, better start making a fuss. If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself when you and your rights are violated.

Leading Scientists Say Airport Full Body Scanners Easily Duped

Dec 17th 2010 12:03PM If you think the terrorists aren't already aware of the flaws in our security, you're crazy. They have scientists, too. And trust me, they are testing our technology just as rigorously as we are. But to suggest that we should all remain uninformed and clueless, and have LESS information than the terrorists do is ludicrous. There is a small risk to security by printing these articles, but I would rather take a small risk and be informed, than remain in the dark under the guise of "but it's for your own good". Since when is letting the government keep secrets from us supposed to be a good thing? And how can anyone advocate not telling us the truth, in favor of avoiding a comparatively small risk?

Leading Scientists Say Airport Full Body Scanners Easily Duped

Dec 17th 2010 12:00PM I tried telling them that too, but I get the distinct impression that we are wasting our time. There is no reasoning with unreasonable people.

Leading Scientists Say Airport Full Body Scanners Easily Duped

Dec 17th 2010 11:59AM Do you seriously think that the terrorists didn't already know this stuff long before this article was published? And do you seriously think that the American people are better off when they are lied to and the truth is kept from them? Keep living in unreasoned fear with your hands over your ears if you want to, but the rest of us don't like being lied to by our government and we don't like it when our government keeps secrets under the pretense of it being "for our own good".
