Apr 29th 2011 10:51AM I can't believe the horrible comments I"m reading on these posts. The English don't deserve this. The amount of pounds they bring in as the result of this wedding will be much more than the cost of the security ...and for such a high profile wedding, the security is needed because of all the visiting kings, queens, and other world leaders. And daveumpire...your comment is so dumb. I'm an American, but I have a lot of friends in England and they are wonderful people. Someone really needs to beat YOUR butt.
Mar 19th 2011 9:20AM I agree with Jill, who wants to be married to a man-child? I have a 10 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. I can see it starting already. I have learned that it is not a "parent taught" thing, it's a "society" thing. My husband is very much a man and we both try our best to teach our little guy to act like a man, but I can see that all the boys around him are immature and if he acts like a man, the other boys look down at him. If he works hard or treats a girl with respect, forget it...he's out of the group. Parents of other boys have all seen the same thing happening. Girls, on the other hand, are still being taught that it's a man's world and they will need a college education to "compete" with men...it's really messed up.
Nov 4th 2010 2:10PM How could you not want to live in Minn.? I lived there and I loved it. You have a kid now. Minnesota is one of the best states in the country to raise children!!! It's safe, friendly, and is ranked one of the top states in education!!! And you want to stay on the East Coast!!??? I live on the east coast and I think MN tops anything the east coast can offer.
Oct 23rd 2010 9:22AM It's Halloween...What would it be without candy? But there are lots of other things you can hand out besides candy. There are pencils, wax teeth, little rubber bats and spiders, stickers, and those glow sticks. I had a neighbor make this little ghosts out of coins wrapped in a kleenex with black and orange yarn tied on it's neck with a little ghost face made with a marker. They were really cute and the kids loved them. But for me, it's all about the candy.
Aug 8th 2010 10:12PM My best friend had an electric car. She brought it over to my house to let me test drive the car around the block. I loved the idea and had thought about getting my own, but then I drove the car. Everything was fine at first then came the first stop sign. When I came to a stop, it felt as if the car killed. It was a creepy feeling. Every time I would stop it had the same feeling. I didn't like it.
Dec 20th 2009 10:44PM Oh this is so sad. I loved her in all her movies. What a great laugh she had!! My prayers go out to her family and friends.
Dec 11th 2009 4:24PM As an artist myself, I feel the "idea" is interesting, but she shows a lack of talent in her work. There might be a small market for it, but it's really kinda dorky.
Dec 8th 2009 4:40PM If you are pregnant, you should not play sports. I played volleyball in HS and she's dumb if she thinks she and the baby wouldn't get hurt. If you are on a team, you need to be in shape and ready to put it on the line. She can't do that in her condition. I don't know what her doctor was thinking. I hope she considers ending all this, and just quit the team. And the coach saying that she's pregnant isn't as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. In a few months everyone would have known anyway. And now with her coming out with her story, now the whole world knows.
Nov 12th 2009 8:37PM When I was flipping through the channels last night, I saw this interview... and for the first 3 or 4 minutes I thought it was an SNL skit. I remember laughing and telling my husband that SNL must have new writers because the dumb blonde was really funny. LOL
Dec 4th 2008 9:49PM Hey ..what about The Last Starfighter? I liked the movie so much I named my son Alex
