Jul 8th 2012 12:26PM I am not a believer, but I respect those who do believe. However, a very important aspect of this case is the neighborhood disruption caused by these activities. As I respect his belief, he should respect his neighbor's peace and tranquility. The imposition of jail time in this case is unwarranted; the fine should be sufficient; after all we are talking about a spiritual activity, not a music festival. The suggestion that he rent a more suitable space is a worthy suggestion. Perhaps a meeting with the local authorities to discuss the situation might yield fruitful results.
May 3rd 2011 2:36PM How about this, "She is a lovely woman." I once had an English girlfriend, and she was also lovely.
They do grow them well on the Sceptered Isle.
Apr 8th 2011 1:23PM Ms. Michaels, adopt from wherever you want.
The national or ethnic background of the child is irrelevant to the good you are doing for another humsn being. I have never watched your show, but I have always respected the goals that you sought for yor contestants. A they say, "You go girl."
Apr 7th 2011 4:43PM I am a person of color, and I say bless this couple for what they are doing. My wife and I are devoted fans of Mariska and have great respect for her talent and integrity. The legacy of slavery is horrific and is with us today. Thank God there are people who can see above the darkness and offer light, joy and life to another, regardless of ethnicity. May the future be forever bright for your family.
Apr 6th 2011 3:01PM I heartily applaud Glenn Beck for sparing the public any more of his drivilish vitriol. The man turns my stomach. He represents all the things that stain this country's flag, driving wedges between its people and offending the foreign born. There should be an island reserved for indiviuals like him in the caldera of a volcano.
Aug 3rd 2010 1:19AM Everybody's got to get to heaven in their own way. Her life has been her own adventure. More power to her and blessings be upon her.
Jun 5th 2009 12:46PM I agree that the use of the word "racist" represents a knee jerk reaction to Sotomayor's unfortunate statement. In truth, just because her experience would tend to make her sympathetic to certain issues before the court doesn't mean that she would let her experience dominate her judgement under the law. A fair reading of all her decisions will show that she has applied the law across the board in a majority of cases, although I disagree with her support for dismissing the results of the Fire Dept. promotional exam. Minority candidates should have studied harder.
Aug 12th 2008 11:35PM I have no interest in Mr. Edward's sex life, which is his business and I won't blame him for trying to keep it that way. He has some really good ideas for the country, and I would like to see him develop them.
It's unfortunate that he lied, but being outted for sexual indiscretions is extremely inconvenient. I think we should all grow up.
Jan 19th 2008 1:15AM You forgot Christine Johnson CBS channel2 and
Linda Vaquero NBC channel 4, both of them mezmerizing, beautiful and articulate.
Jan 17th 2007 12:51AM America Ferrara is so wonderfully not Hollywood, is there any wonder that eveybody including this old married burnout fell in love with her?
Being a warm, emotional, compassionate, vulnerable human being is a tall order in these times of diamond edge hardness. I applaude her courage and hope she never loses her charming innocence.
