May 16th 2011 1:05PM I think we can all agree that Pageant Mom's live vicariously through their children. This article makes you wonder how many other pageant moms have been injecting their children with botox. Hopefully this will shed some light on the problem and an even larger investigation into the entire pageant industry will take place. The world is just getting crazier every day!
May 13th 2011 6:13PM myforsalebox, you are the one who needs to re-read the article. I was correct! The article did say no bikinis after 47 and no bathing suits at all after 61. Get your eyes checked before you start bashing other people and telling them that they mis-read the article when it was you who did!
May 13th 2011 2:24PM OK, so you're not allowed to go swimming after age 61? Tell that to my 73 year old Mom who wears a sensible suit with a skirt attached, and loves to swim in our pool with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Not to mention, that only gives me 9 more years to where a swimsuit. This is ridiculous, especially ino a world that spouts physical fitness for all ages, there is no greater exericise than swimming! Apparently we are to go swimming in our clothes after the age of 61.
Apr 25th 2011 1:46PM They do really look like little old ladies, badly dressed little old ladies that is. They were adorable, what happened? They also seem to be aging rapidly too. Not sure if its the way they wear their makeup that similates that already dead look, but they need a new makeup artist, hairdresser and clothes stylist.
Aug 16th 2010 1:58PM My point Oscar is that if every woman who felt this way acted upon it, there would be an even higher divorce rate and children without mothers. Because believe me, everyone woman feels this way whether they would admit it or not. Because being a wife and mother is a totally selfless act. If we were to put our own happiness first, we would have to put the happiness of our spouse and children second. Woman have been putting themselves on the back burner since the beginning of time. But if we didn't society as we know it, would fall apart. It's not that finding true happiness is a bad thing, its finding it at the expense of others is.
Aug 16th 2010 1:38PM Didn't read the book "Eat, Pray, Love", definitely won't now that I went to see the movie. The character was very self indulgent to say the least. I'm a 50 yr. old married mom who went to see the movie with my sister, mother, 2 sister-in-laws and one of my daughters. And we all said the same thing when we came out of the movie, "who leaves their husband just because she wants to find herself?" We all agreed, that at every decade in our lives and probably every other day of our lives we felt the same way, but wouldn't ever leave our husbands, kids, job, friends, family, etc. to go galavanting around the world, learning to pray to a woman's picture in a frame and chant weird things. I have to admit that the reason we went to see the movie in the first place was probably because we had heard some of what is was about(a woman who was discouraged with the direction of her life) and lets face it, misery loves company. But I think we would have loved the movie more if she had gone off only to realize that she still loved her husband, and that she too realized that every woman feels this way at some point during her marriage! Heck, I'm sure every married man has felt like he has given up all his dreams too, for the mortgage, marriage and kids. This movie was just craziness!!!!
Mar 19th 2010 4:31PM I like the sunglasses but they are a little too small for her face. They look child size. Sorry Hillary, but if they were slightly bigger, they wouldn't make your eyes look so close together.
