According to the Official Royal Wedding web site, the couple, who departed via helicopter, are not heading out on their honeymoon... yet:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen not to depart for a honeymoon immediately. Instead, after spending the weekend privately in the United Kingdom, The Duke will return to work as a Search and Rescue pilot next week. The locations of both their private weekend before The Duke returns to work and their future honeymoon, which will be overseas, will not be disclosed in advance. The Couple have asked that their privacy be respected during the coming weekend and during their honeymoon."
There are rumors that their weekend trip will likely be to a royal residence in Scotland, possibly Balmoral.
The duchess wore a pleated blue dress with skinny black belt paired with a collarless jacket and wedges, while William sported a pale blue button-down and navy jacket with khakis.
Palace staff reportedly carried out their luggage, which included a bouquet of white flowers.

So they have been dating for a few years, how does that make a mokery of marriage?
Hay! Leave them alone for a change!! Yes, they are a happy lovely couple..But cut them a break of what they eat, wear the go to the bathroom, what they wear, or where do they sleep?? WHO CARES!! They just want to be like regular normal people..I totally understand of protection like protecting the president..That is totally understandable..=)..

You did not see, or watch with attention to, the whole ceremony video. Will and Kate stopped in the aisle leaving the ceremony to shake hands with Diana's brother (I forget his name.)

ReplyJust to clarify, Kate has only worked about 3 mos during their whole relationship. She didn't work until about 3 or 4 yrs ago when the Queen started voicing concerns about her not really doing anything and just waiting for William. So, Kate went to work at Jigsaw as a buyer, but that was an exaggerated title apparently. She only worked 3 days per week b/c she "needed" to be available for William. After 3 mos, it got too much for her and she quit. She has been reportedly working for her parent's party company pre engagement, but that was in name only. Basically, her career has been waiting for William to come home from training, etc.
In England, that has been the big complaint about her: that she has no real motivation since college except to marry William. I am not being critical, just the facts.
