According to the Official Royal Wedding web site, the couple, who departed via helicopter, are not heading out on their honeymoon... yet:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen not to depart for a honeymoon immediately. Instead, after spending the weekend privately in the United Kingdom, The Duke will return to work as a Search and Rescue pilot next week. The locations of both their private weekend before The Duke returns to work and their future honeymoon, which will be overseas, will not be disclosed in advance. The Couple have asked that their privacy be respected during the coming weekend and during their honeymoon."
There are rumors that their weekend trip will likely be to a royal residence in Scotland, possibly Balmoral.
The duchess wore a pleated blue dress with skinny black belt paired with a collarless jacket and wedges, while William sported a pale blue button-down and navy jacket with khakis.
Palace staff reportedly carried out their luggage, which included a bouquet of white flowers.

my exact feelings. they slept in a helicopter??? learn to say what you mean because when you don't it just sounds stupid. now as for the royal wedding my wedding was a royal wedding and so was all of you who got married. kate and will are no better than you or i. and it seems to me that i was taught only hillbillies get married to each other. like the so called royal people. give me a fuxc\\c..............break!!!! thank god this time will had the sense not to co-mingle the blood line. ghezz!!!!

I must be reading a different article. Second line says they stayed at the Queen's home.
LOL!The words "where they spent the night" are set off by commas and refer back to Buckingham Palace not the helicopter ! Read it again a bit more carefully.Hee,Hee!
it states in the article clear as you can see (maybe with reading glasses??????) that they stayed at the queens home. Can you not read correctly????? Stop writing silly things and read the article correct maybe a few times then you will get it.
It's fuuny to read the comments on here, the grammar and spelling is atrocious. Atleast the Royals are educated, listening to some people speak in this country, one would think we are the hillbillies.
Did you not read the beginning see below. Just for you I copied and pasted. I did not get the impression that they slept in the helicopter. Why don't you read evrything first.
Newlyweds Prince William and Duchess Catherine were seen leaving Buckingham Palace earlier today. They walked hand-in-hand from the Queen's home, where they had stayed following last night's reception, The Telegraph reports.
Who really cares about these boring Brits and this wedding. Geez, get a life people.

I for one, would rather they are happy no matter where they go. I think the wedding was perfectly beautiful!. I also agree we should leave them alone to enjoy their private lives and honeymoon.
Why don't they leave us alone? I am so sick of seeing them on every magazine, TV show etc. Who cares about the royal family anyway. They are a bunch of drips.
I agree. The media continually refers to them as Prince William and Kate. They are married why Kate and not Princess or Duke and Dutchess? How ignorant can the news media be????

I agree with you about the journalists. It's sad to note that they - and most of the media in general - only write what they think people would like to hear or else they downplay a lot of things that should be deemed important. One of the president wrote a number of years ago (I can't recall which one) that the media could start World War lll all by itself. That's a chilly thought but I do believe it. I like to read about fashions of the royal family - and maybe just a few celebrities (a very few) - but I do not need to know what they had for breakfast this morning or what their political preferences. We get too much of the political stuff shoved down our throats and I am so sick of it.
What a great couple. I would like to meet them one.
