In addition to the dukedom, William also became the Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus, which means Kate will become the Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus.
That makes three titles each for the royal couple.
According to The Telegraph, dukedom is the highest rank in the British peerage.

Gads, what a bunch of grumps on this side of "the pond" this morning. Drink your coffee (or tea!), and be a bit grateful you have the choice to watch (or not watch) on the boob tube or internet, AND/OR the ability to read and write about the whole shenanigans.

I agree with Sandra! With all of the bad things surrounding us, tragedies worldwide, no one can deny the need for something joyous and uplifting to lift the spirits of all those who choose to be affected by goodness! I am also sure that Princess Dianna was there with her son. May God Bless them all as well as the rest of us.

It absolutely AMAZES me that some people just CAN'T/won't see something beautiful in ANYTHING!
Being so critical about something that will not change your OWN life, (only YOU can do that) denotes a problem that has NOTHING to do with the subject being discussed! Do something to improve your OWN life, and THEN you won't have time to disapprove of OTHERS ! May Kate and William break the curse of unhappy UNIONS, and let THEIR lives be filled with love, compassion, understanding and giving! For each OTHER as well as the ones whos lives are changed because of THEIR efforts! God Bless their marriage!
