Had the writers of this article done a bit of research, they would have found that it is

This article is mistaken. In the United States only the bride wears white. In England, the bridesmaids typically dress to match the bride. If Kate had worn blue, then her bridesmaids would have donned blue dresses as well. And yes, she is quite a beautiful young lady - the whole family is very attractive.

Perhaps you should have researched this further before this article was written. Pippa looks beautiful. Bridesmaids in England are dressed to match the bride. In medieval times, it was thought that it would disguise the bride and therefore outwit malevolent spirits.

Why are we still ragging on this? The statement of bridesmaids wearing the same color as the bride was discussed numerous times on the coverage of the Royal Wedding. Again we prove we do not understand or respect the beliefs of other countries.

In England, it is not unusual for bridesmaids to wear white or ivory. They match the color of the bride's dress.
ReplyI agree, I think she looks (as the Brits say) smashing, that bridesmaid dress was simple elegance and look way better than the horrific dresses that most brides mades wear, think to two white dresses complement each other. Kate is confident in herself to worry about the spotlight being stolen from her.
