ReplyObviously some people don't appreciate what the Royals stand for. With their recent bad press this wedding is going to be a new beginning. I for one will be getting up early tomorrow to watch the events as they happen. I wish them the best and can't wait for Harrys' turn..

This wedding has absolutely no bearing on any of us here in this country. I for one wil not be going out of my way to watch any of it. I couldn't care less about his farse of a wedding. It is going to ruin television all day tomorrow. Can't wait until it is over.
Scp--I'm pretty confident there will be all kinds of things on cable tomorrow so your TV isn't ruined! Heaven forbid you should miss an inane talk show or soap (I was pretty put off by the March Madness basketball coverage, myself!)
And I, for one, have interests in things going on in the world outside my own little neck of the woods. Just because it isn't happening in the US or have anything to do with me personally, I actually have curiousity about things not directly affecting me!
And to everyone who is so bugged that this is getting so much news coverage when there is so much awful stuff going on in the world: Yes, there is war and famine and poverty and murder and natural disaster and terrorism. Guess what? There has been forever--for as long as people have been on earth. And yet some of us manage to haul ourselves out of bed every morning and put a smile on our faces and get on with life. There is nothing wrong with caring about the little bit of fun and happy news out there in between all the suffering--it's a good way to make it through the day. If it doesn't interest you, then don't read about it, change the channel, get a hobby. Try, really try, to have a nice day!
